The My School Tracker (MST) platform through Bus operators and Schools collects personal information about individuals in the course of providing services to our customers and users of our services, and managing our business. We are committed to protecting personal information, and complying with our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This Privacy Policy sets out how we use and protect personal information.

Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate and disclose and make use of personal information. The following outlines our privacy policy.

The personal information that you have provided to your Bus Operator, will be used solely for purposes relating to Passenger Transport Service and with communicating with you and your school or organisation. It may also be disclosed to other third parties in circumstances allowed for by law. By using any of the Apps on the My School Tracker platform (including and not limited to the Web and Mobile apps), you confirm you have read the above statement and authorise your Bus Operator or School to share your personal information for the purposes identified below:

Your email address
If you are registering as a driver, you need to provide your valid driver’s licence number, and the make and model of the vehicle
If you registering as a passenger, you need to provide a relevant identification proof that is authorised by the government of Australia/the relevant state and/or country where MST’s services are being availed
Your unique login name and password that MST has provided you by virtue of your registration on MST’s Platform
Your name, gender, age and date of birth
Your phone number
Your address/location details
Your health information, including but not limited to any disability, disease or other medical condition
Your payment details, including but not limited to debit/credit card details, bank account information and other financial details that MST requires

We collect your PII, as listed above, for the following purposes only: For your personal identification

To communicate the confirmation of your registration with MST
To send details of a ride via text messages/emails/telephone
To contact you for our services, if required
To notify you of any updates/modifications to your profile/advertisement or to MST’s Platform
To notify you of your online transactions
To provide you updates regarding special offers and new services from MST
To provide other notifications from MST

To verify the information you have provided, MST, may at any time, ask you to upload a scanned copy of a valid identity proof before or after you have created your MST account (as defined in the End User Licence Agreement).

We take reasonable steps to make individuals aware that if and when we are collecting ‘personal’, ‘sensitive’ or ‘health’ information about them. We also then notify those individuals if that is the case, about the purpose/s for which we are collecting the information and who we may share that information with if we are indeed collecting this information. If the personal information is sensitive information, we then ensure that consent for such collection, use or disclosure is obtained (expressly or impliedly).

We comply with restrictions on how personal information can be used and to whom it can be disclosed, including the offshore location to which the information may be disclosed, and give individuals the right to access the information we hold about them and to have that information corrected or modified.
